Meccanotecnica attended on May 14-18 China Print 2013.
The show recorded 1326 exhibitors and 13% more visitors over the '09 edition. The anticipation that preceded the event wasn't disappointed at all.
With over 180.000 visitors, China Print 2013 in Beijing was a great success.
Meccanotecnica Group, along with its representative Kao Asia - Kolbus Group, attended this show with a lot of expectations and in the end were very pleased with the outcome. Visitors showed great interest in our new products, both for the traditional offset and the digital print solutions. Universe Sewing, our unit for the digital print finishing, draw a great deal of attention. It's a versatile and reliable book sewing machine, in the typical Aster tradition, but it also offers the opportunity to increase profitability especially with short and medium run productions. Although digital print was the main character of China Print 2013, we were quite impressed by the general interest in offset print finishing equipments. AsterEVO is well renowned in the Far East market and the amount of visitors interested in this unit suggests that the traditional printing market in China is showing no signs of slowing down. It also has been a show where any kind of equipment copies were on display, including our Asters, but their appeal faded away fast. All visitors were looking for the original. The time for imitation products is over. All in all, China Print 2013 has been an opportunity to see how the printing market is at the top of its game and Meccanotecnica Group, as always, is ready to play.]
